Land of Dreams
The Land of Dreams is an urban farming initiative in Southeast Mohkinstsis (Calgary) on Treaty 7 territory. This community garden project brings together refugees, newcomers, and Indigenous peoples to foster social connections and cultural exchange. By cultivating the garden, newcomers reconnect with their roots and gain a deeper appreciation for Alberta’s Indigenous history, creating a meaningful and inclusive community space.
